my day at the pool

one summer day, my friend anthony jones invited me to come over to his house so we could go swimming. I was overjoyed because i loved it when we go swimming at his outdoor pool. i got evertything i needed to go to the public pool. ( sunsreen, towel, swimsuit, etc.) i traveled to anthonys house anthony was ready to walk over to the public pool. he tripped twice over some rocks, and i was hopping around on the sidewalk because it was so hot. we got to the pool and we decided to play marco polo. i kept on barely missing him as i was the one yelling marco. anthony even did several cannonballs off of the diving board. I did a back float a lot and it felt like anthony was going to push me into the water. we had a fun time and i got sunburned on the nose a little. (dang)
